Perfect Picnic Week 3

Welcome to Week 3 of our Perfect Picnic with Scheepjes!

This week is all about the picnic food with wonderfully textured stitches representing berries, cupcakes, grapes and maybe some salad too… 🙂

The stitches this week are a combination of raised stitches where on some rows we crochet around the posts of stitches rather than into the stitch as normal.

It’s amazing the textures that can be created by combining these raised stitches… enjoy them! 😃

These photos are from back in the summer when I was crocheting the blanket to record all the video tutorials. This was my Week 3 progress…

There’s been more beautiful crochet this past week with so many of you crocheting along and wonderful mindful waves were made.

I’m now back home from a couple of weeks in Greece but we managed a couple of Picnics by the Seaside whilst out there… 🙂

And at the airport I spotted this plane which reminded me of all things picnic with the gingham checks on the tail!
