This week the rows which were inspired by cliff top flowers and the pops of colour that these flowers provide, are back! They last featured in Week 21… and then we end the week with some more shells – yes the shells are back too! 🙂
And here’s the usual round up from over on Instagram
So at the end of Row 135 you should have joined with a new colour and made 3ch which counts as the first tr of this next row. Remember it’s UK crochet terminology and I did do a YouTube tutorial to help with these rows…
Row 136 Miss 1 st, 2tr in next st, continue with (miss 1 st, 2tr in next st) to end finishing with 1 tr in final st of row, DO NOT TURN work, remove hook and place a stich marker in the loop on hook (89 groups of 2tr with 1 tr at each side)
.
Row 137 Go back to beginning of Row 136 and join with a new colour in top of 3 ch, 1ch (counts as first dc – you may want to put a stitch marker in this ch so it is easier to recognise as a stitch when crocheting back into it on next row), 1dc in space between first st and next 2 sts, continue with (2ch, miss 2 sts, 1dc in next space) to end of row, 2ch, miss 2 sts, 1dc in final st rejoining with the colour used in row 136 and pulling though the loop on the stitch marker at last stage of final st, 3ch, turn
.
Row 138 2tr in next 2-ch space, miss next st, continue with 2tr in each 2-ch space to end of row, miss 1 st, 1tr in final st joining with a new colour, 4ch (counts as first dtr of next row), turn
And now the shells are back…
Row 139 3dtr into st at base of turning chain, *miss 3 sts, 1dc in next st, miss 3 sts, 7dtr in next st, repeat from * to end, miss 2 sts, 1dc in final st joining with a new colour at end of st, 4ch, turn (22 shells and 1 half shell)
.
Row 140 2dtr into st at base of turning chain, *miss 3 sts, 1dc in next st, miss 3 sts, 7dtr in next st, repeat from * to end, miss 3 sts, 1dc in final st joining with a new colour at end of st, 4ch, turn (22 shells and 1 half shell)
And that’s it for another week… this is the final blog post which I’ve scheduled to come out whilst we’re travelling in our Campervan around Europe! We should be staying near family in The Netherlands when this is published and it will be very nearly time for us to come home…
Happy Crocheting everyone… 🙂 🙂
