Was it really a year ago that I was at @thecrochetsanctuary sharing my crochet covered pebbles in such a fun workshop!!! 🌊💙🌊💙😁 Have fun everyone who’s there again this weekend... we’re off to the Isle of Wight tomorrow for a family gathering to celebrate my father in laws 80th birthday!! I have never been to the Isle of Wight so I’m seriously looking forward to it!! Any tips on places to visit are welcome... ☀️🌊☀️🌊☀️
I was asked by @simplycrochetmag to take part in their #hooktohook ‘Designer Challenge’ that’s in the new issue (Issue 81) out today!! 😁 The design brief was ‘Mother’s Day Card’ and we were given 5 little balls of @scheepjes Catona and a blank card... the winner of the challenge is the design with the most likes. So if you like my feline themed card then please do go and give it a like over at @simplycrochetmag 😻😻😻 The designers don’t know who the other designer is until the magazine is published and I was feeling a teeny bit apprehensive... but I’m so happy to discover it’s lovely Heather from @kcaco.uk who I’ve been lucky to meet a couple of times. 💕💕💕 It’s all a bit of fun but it does feel better when you’re in a challenge with a friend... 😘😘🐈🐈🐱🐱🐱
Yay, it’s there! 🤩 New BLOG POST is up all about my next blanket CAL, the ‘Changing Tides’ Blanket...😁💙💛💚💛💙 The link to my blog is in my profile and within the blog post there’s a link to click on only if you want to see the blanket design!! 😊💙💚💛 The CAL starts on 12th April and all the information is there about yarns so you now have plenty of time to get organised!😊💙💙💙💙🌊🌊🌊🌊
EXCITING announcement!! 🤩 All the details about my next blanket ‘Crochet Along’ will be published over on my blog tomorrow morning!!! 😁 THANK YOU so much to everyone who gave feedback a couple of posts back about whether they want to see the blanket design in full or not... it’s been really helpful. 👍 So within the blog post there will be a link to click on if you want to see the design in full. There will be another link to click on if you just want a sneak preview. And if you don’t want to see it at all, then don’t click on the links!! 😆 Till tomorrow... 💙💚💛💙💛💚💙
There’s only one place left on my ‘Crochet Flowers’ workshop at @___yak in Brighton on 10th March! 🌸😊 I’m so looking forward to an afternoon of crocheting some spring flowers... yes I do feel that spring may just be on the way!! 😆 Have a great week Everyone... 😁💐🌷🌹🌸🌼🌺💐🌸
I have a question for you which I think I already know the answer to but it will be lovely if you could let me know anyhow in the comments below! 😆 I posted the following in my Facebook ‘Coastal Crochet CAL’ group this morning and got an overwhelming response but I’d like to see what you all think here... . “So my blanket design for the new CAL is finished!! Look at these ends... 😁💙💚💛 I am now in the process of pattern testing, taking some step by step photos and also a few video tutorials to accompany the CAL. But I’d love your input please and I have a question! . Do you want to see the finished blanket design? . The last CAL was a stash busting project that I designed as we went so not even I knew what it would look like before the end... This time it’s all planned ahead so a different approach for me! The launch date will be Friday 12th April and it will run for 16 weeks. I’ve used @stylecraftyarns Special Aran which they kindly provided for me. I’ll be publishing a blog post later this week with more information so that people can start planning if they want to join in. But do I include a finished blanket photo??” Thank you so much...😊💙💙💙
