Changing Tides – Week 15

Week 15, our penultimate week! It’s just amazing to see all the beautiful blankets being made and I’m finding it harder each week to choose just 9 photos per grid for my Thursday round-ups…

This week so many gorgeous photos have been shared… thank you all so much!! 😍 Blankets on beautiful beaches, blankets in gardens and just look at Bowen the German Shepherd perched beautifully on Trina’s blanket in Canada! The first grid is from Instagram and the second grid is from the Facebook group β€˜Coastal Crochet CAL’.

This week we’re continuing with ‘Raised Ripple’ Stitch which now changes from ripples in the water to resemble the ripples in the sand! When the tides go out slowly, leaving behind such beautiful patterns in the sand…img_9366p1150866P1070035

For those of you who have purchased the PDF pattern on Ravelry it has now been updated to include Week 15 in both UK and US terms…

And here’s a YouTube tutorial to help with Round 79…

I just love those ripples in the sand… πŸ™‚

So next week is our very last week and we will be crocheting a suitable edging for this blanket! I can’t believe we’re nearly there! Happy Crocheting Everyone… πŸ™‚
