Welcome to Part 3 of our Festival Fever crochet-along! This third part is a favourite of mine because it features the first row of bunting flags! 🔻🔻🔻🥰

It’s amazing to see how many blankets are in progress… it’s such a joy to see so many of you take part and each time I see a new photo shared it makes me smile!😃
Here’s a round-up of photos shared on Instagram, in the King Cole Facebook Group and also in my Coastal Crochet Facebook Group…

I really wanted bunting blags to be a feature in this blanket – any festival or party is enhanced by beautiful flags blowing in the gentle breeze!

But I didn’t want simply triangles stitched on afterwards. So how to incorporate our bunting flags into a row of stitches?! This took many trial and error attempts – a design challenge for sure! 😅
I’m so happy with how they turned out… yes, they might be a little fiddly to create but you’ll get used to the construction and they are oh so worth it…

We also begin our celebrations in this part with the musical magic carried far on the sound waves with crocheted wave stitches…

The pattern for part 3 is now up on the King Cole website…🎶🔻🔻🔻

I’m back in the UK after a fantastic trip to Australia for the Crochet Guild Australia annual convention… what an incredible event it was!
We had our own celebrations…

The skirt I’m wearing is my Taylor Skirt pattern: www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1749975864/
It was the perfect travel project which I crocheted on the way to the convention on the plane and in the car!

It was absolutely amazing to meet lots of you at my workshops too…

I’ll be sharing lots more from this trip over the coming months… there’s so much inspiration and beautiful experiences to share with you all!
But for now, enjoy our Festival Fever and Happy Crocheting! 🥰💖

Great photos , thankyou for sharing with us all , I’m just completing the “notes”‘row , enjoying using up some stash , great cal
Oh wow! I was thrilled to see my 2 favorite crocheter’s together!!!! (Eleonora and Tinna) Love, love, love your work❤❤
I’m so glad you had such a great time while you were here. Disappointed I couldn’t make it to the convention. It was my Dad’s 87th birthday on the Saturday and we live more than three hours away so too far to go for a day trip. I’m going to join the guild though, so I’ll know in advance about other events.
