Welcome to Part 2 of the Festival Fever Blanket crochet-along (CAL) together with King Cole. It’s been a delightful start to our Festival with so many people taking part from all over the world and lots being shared over in the Facebook Groups and on Instagram!
Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments and feedback… 💖
For those of you who have taken part in a crochet-along with me before, you’ll know that a weekly round-up has become a tradition! So here’s a round-up of photos from Part 1 shared on Instagram, in the King Cole Facebook Group and also in my Coastal Crochet Facebook Group…

I really love them all… do keep on sharing! 🥰

The pattern for part 2 is now up on the King Cole website but do read further below for a few more photos and more information about the inspiration for Part 2…🎶

This week is all about the music – Let’s play the music and dance! 💃

This feels particularly poignant as we have the Glastonbury Music Festival kicking off in the UK this weekend…🎶

Any festival or celebration needs some accompanying music. To listen to music or to make music yourself, this part encompasses all that musical magic…

We have stitch patterns inspired by musical maracas, there are some musical notes to crochet and then as
darkness falls once more the lights shine bright!

I’m currently in Australia for the annual Crochet Guild Australia convention and it’s a wonderful celebration of all things crochet…
I saw festival inspired art at the ‘Home of the Arts’ Gallery on the Gold Coast…

And the convention itself is a beautiful gathering… I’m hosting workshops across the weekend and my Festival Fever Blanket has been admired… 😃

Put on some music… and Happy Crocheting Everyone! 🎶🥰💖
