As January comes to an end, I’m really keen to pop in briefly and let you all know a little more about what to expect from my hooks this year. Because I’ve been very busy creating new designs for you all! 😄
But first, I’m very excited to say that the pattern for my Sea Breeze Tee is now available direct from me…😃

I originally designed this for Inside Crochet Magazine last year and was over the moon when it featured on the front cover…

I genuinely love my Sea Breeze Tee and wear it a lot!

I love the CaMaRose yarn which I used so much that I simply couldn’t resist getting some more when I was hosting a workshop at my gorgeous local yarn shop YAK in Brighton a couple of weeks ago…

I so want to make another garment with these gorgeous balls of yarn so do watch this space!
Making patterns, which I’ve designed for magazines in the past, available directly from me is something I’m keen to do in 2024. So I’m really pleased that I’ve got this one done already. Next up will be my Golden Moments blanket! 💛
But what new designs do I already have off my hooks and in the pipeline for 2024!?
Well my design for the 2024 King Cole crochet-along is hot off the hooks. And here are just some of the ends to prove it… 😃

It’s been a wonderful project on my hooks throughout December and January. I absolutely adore the blanket which I’ve created and there are some design features which I’m oh so happy with and can’t wait to show you!
Although the design is complete, there’s still a lot of work to do behind the scenes between now and launch day to bring this crochet-along to you all. So the crochet-along won’t start until the summer.

There’s another blanket crochet-along which I’ve designed for a magazine launching around May time. That will be over lots of issues so will be a wonderfully slow burner to do amongst other projects. I can’t say much more about that one yet… except that I love it! 😃
I’ve also been invited to participate in some virtual book tours for fellow designers who have new crochet books being published soon. I love to support fellow designers so just had to say yes when asked to join in!
It means I get an advance copy of the books to preview and then the plan is to make a project from the books too…
First up is Granny Square Fashion by Cassie Ward…

And then Crochet Illusion Blankets by Helen Smith…

I’m looking forward to crocheting something from them. Both books are available for pre-order already.
So that’s a brief little update from me… people often ask me when the next blanket is coming out! 😅 So it’s good to be able to let you know that there will be two blankets from me launching in spring/summer.
And amongst my regular workshops I’m also going to be hosting a couple of crochet masterclasses at the Carry on Crafting Festival this July. Tickets will be available in March but do have a look at the website to give you a flavour of what to expect: https://carryoncraftingfestival.co.uk
In the meantime, Happy Crocheting Everyone! 🥰

Loved reading your update. Your patterns are just the best. You’re looking smashing in the pics! Take care till spring!
Awww… thank you Paula!! That’s so kind of you to say! 😘🥰🌸
This is all very exciting. So much to look forward to in 2024. Xx
Awww… thank you! I can’t wait to share more in the coming months! 🥰🥰
I love that top Eleonora. I’m looking forward to seeing what coastal inspired blanket you will come up with this time! And that book on illusion crochet looks like it will provoke quite a storm. I make a lot of squares for the Woolly Hugs charity and we do like an unusual design, something a bit funky that draws the eye. I am expecting to see several of these designs on the website before the year is out!
Yay!! Yes, the illusion blankets look great… just need a few more hours in each day!! 😃😃
Really enjoyed this update and looking forward to seeing the new patterns and maybe attending another workshop too
Thank you Katharine! It would be lovely to see you… 🥰🥰
Hi Eleonora, I will be visiting the UK (From Perth Australia) in September. If you are running any workshops then I would love to sign up.
How exciting! It would be lovely to see you… I’m sure there’ll be something on which I’ll share here of course! 🥰
Loved reading your update and looking forward to seeing your new creations.

Awww… thank you Carol! You’re more than welcome… creating crochet designs really is a joy for me! I hope your sister likes the top… 🧡🧡
Great to read your update. Looking forward to seeing your new blanket designs!
You are so prolific. As I struggle along with my latest blanket, I am amazed at all the patterns for lovely things you manage to produce each year.
Wow Eleonora, you have been so industrious! I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us this year x
