One week today on Saturday 2nd September I’ll be revealing my new ‘Causeway Coast’ Blanket for the very first time, in person, at the Spinning Yarns Festival in Northern Ireland! 💙

A new blanket design fully inspired by my previous visits to the Spinning Yarns Festival and falling in love with the stunning coastline of Northern Ireland…
My blanket reveal and talk about the design process and all the inspirations behind the blanket will be at midday. If any of you are in the area and can be at the festival it would be fabulous to see you there!
Copies of the printed pattern, together with a pre-made shade card, stitch marker and postcard will be available from me at the festival for £10 on the day.
For those of you who can’t be at the festival the blanket pattern will go on sale online in the usual ways in my Etsy and Ravelry stores later on Saturday.

It’s a design I’m super happy with and I really hope that those of you who know the Causeway Coast will think I’ve done it justice in this blanket.
We’ve just returned from a wonderful couple of weeks in Northern Spain. I knew there’d be some great photo opportunities so I brought the blanket along with me. The coastline has a similar rugged beauty to the coastline of Northern Ireland…
Of course, nothing can beat photographing the blanket actually on the Causeway Coast and by locations which have inspired me and led to this new blanket design. That’s what is really needed, but that will have to wait until next weekend! 😄

I will be waiting with bated breath for this one its so nice and blue my favourite color. Brilliant photos of your travels I would love to see these places but too eldery to travel much now and its a long way from OZ . Thank you for the taste of Europe
