It’s Week 4 of the Tropical Shores Blanket crochet-along I’ve designed for @kingcoleltd and this week is all about those tropical views! 😍🌴💦🏝🏝🌊

No filter used here… straight out the camera and you can see the approach of rain! 🌧 We enjoyed a lovely coastal walk… yes we got wet, but it’s still feeling warm! ☀️🌧💦⚡️ Hope you’ve alll had a good weekend… 🥰💙

It’s weekly round-up time! 😄🌴🏝🏝 Thank you to all who have shared beautiful photos this week of their #tropicalshoresblanket which I’ve designed for @kingcoleltd 👏💙 We have plenty of outside crochet going on🌴🌿, some lovely crochet in action progress photos 🧶 and lots of people only just starting out this week, with yarn available from independent stores! 🥰🥰🥰🌴🌴🌴 The first grid is from photos shared here on Instagram, the second grid is from photos shared in the Facebook Group: ‘King Cole Craft Along #CAL’ and the third grid is from photos shared in my Facebook group: ‘Coastal Crochet’! We had thunder storms last night with heavy rain! ⚡️🌧⛈ ⚡️ The lightening is spectacular over the sea… but Salty is terrified of thunder and lightening and she kept us awake!! Not the best nights sleep ever… 😏💤 As you can see, she’s fine now… 🥰🐾 The air is fresher… but still warm enough for some alfresco crochet! 🥰🧶 I’m using the ‘Scrumpalicious’ yarn from @cygnet_yarns - it’s not like anything else I’ve crocheted with before… 🧶🧶🧶

This week for the Tropical Shores Blanket crochet-along which I designed for @kingcoleltd we have some coconut inspired squares 🥥🌴as well as shells 🐚 and sparkling seas! 🌊💦 I wanted to photograph my coconut inspired crochet together with an actual coconut so I found myself adding coconuts to my weekly food shopping! 😆🥥🥥🥥 That’s a first for me! I’m pretty pleased with the photos… 😄🥥🥥🥥🌴🌴🌴

A little sea swimming this evening… with the sun setting and the water so clear and calm, it really felt like I could have been somewhere a very long way from home! But this is home… by the Sussex coast! We’re certainly enjoying the weather and calm seas while it lasts… 😍👌🥰🌊🌊🌊🌊☀️☀️☀️🐾 Hope you’re all staying safe and well! 💖
