Festival Fever – final part!

When a crochet-along comes to an end there are also many beginnings… 💖

A new blanket has been created which will go on to be enjoyed for years to come, new stitch patterns have been discovered, new friendships and connections made and new precious memories of our crochet-along experience are incorporated into all those beautiful crochet stitches… 💖💖💖

Every crochet-along is an adventure which I truly cherish, and Festival Fever has felt very special indeed! 🙏

Welcome to this final part of the Festival Fever Blanket – yes it’s time for the border! But first, a blog post from me with some round up thoughts and feelings… 💖

Festival Fever is the fifth crochet-along blanket I’ve designed for King Cole. And there’s a reason I’ve kept coming back… the team at King Cole really are a delight to work with. And of course the yarns and colours are lovely to crochet with too! 💖🥰 🧶

The video tutorials by Joanne to accompany the pattern are EXCELLENT and I know that lots of you really do appreciate them. Thank you Joanne!

Carl at King Cole has been amazing in overseeing everything and Lydia too has been fabulous behind the scenes on social media. 💖🙏

Social media is such a big part of a crochet-along. And it really does showcase the best side of social media! It’s where we share our progress photos, ask questions and make lovely connections with each other all around the world. It’s certainly felt very positive for me… 🥰💖🙏

And a HUGE thank you to all of you for crocheting along! Whether following from the sidelines or fully immersed in the crochet, a crochet-along is nothing without people crocheting along! So thank you all for taking part and sharing and connecting with each other too…
