Hello Everyone… just popping in to let you know Iβve recorded a new YouTube video for you all. Lots of cosy crochet chat in my Coastal Crochet vlog! π
I usually record chatty videos during my blanket crochet-alongs but itβs about time I did them a little more often in between. Thereβs lots to share with you all and it’s always nice to talk about crochet and the coast! π
So hereβs the link to the vlog on my YouTube Channel. More details and the links to all the things I chat about are below tooβ¦ pour yourself a cup of tea or coffee (or whatever you fancy) and enjoy!
I show you my new Santa Hat and Mittens set which I’ve designed for the brand new issue of Simply Crochet Magazine (Issue 116). I designed this in an adult size and a cute baby size too…

I also designed a pair of ‘Mosaic Mittens’ for Inside Crochet Magazine… they’re in the latest issue which is issue 141…

I hope you donβt mind me sharing this hereβ¦Itβs not crochet related but our 19 year old son Morgan is fundraising for the charity ‘Raleigh International‘ because he will be volunteering with them in Costa Rica this February. I feel Morgan deserves a mention here because he has produced the music I use for my crochet videos and he often helps me behind the scenes with my crochet work. Morgan always gives brutally honest opinions when Iβm in the midst of designing and I value his feedback a great deal! He also does photography for me on some occasions when Iβm in front of the camera. So if any of you feel able to donate any amount to his fundraising it would be very much appreciated. The money will go straight to the charity but it directly helps to fund Morganβs place on the volunteer programmeβ¦ THANK YOU! π₯°π

EMU Yarns which is exclusively available from The Knitting Network added Chunky and Super Chunky yarns to their range this week. They sent me some to try and Iβm very impressed. π I’m a big fan of chunky yarns for quick winter projects. Crochet grows soooo quickly when using a big hook and chunky yarn and I’m particularly keen to crochet a hat using the Super Chunky.
If you purchase some through this link then I earn a small amount of commission with no extra cost to you. Rest assured I would only ever recommend yarn that I genuinely like and am happy to use myself: https://tidd.ly/3nXv6JI

My Autumn Fruits Blanket pattern continues to be available as a kit with all the yarn you need together with the printed pattern from The Knitting Network but I also now have the pattern available on its own over in my Ravelry and Etsy stores:

And my βCoastal Crochet Collectionβ continues to be available through the Knitting Network here: https://tidd.ly/3q8bSUy
I show you all the new projects up close in my YouTube video… π

So there’s a few things to catch up on… Thank you so much as always for following along and I hope you enjoyed my vlog!
Till next time… Happy Crocheting! πβ€οΈ
