Coastal Coasters CAL… Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of my ‘Coastal Crochet Coasters‘ CAL! 🙂 I’m so loving seeing all your coasters in progress and it’s just wonderful that so many of you are joining in and enjoying these little projects… 🙂 Today we have a beach scene to crochet!

But first, here’s a round up from Instagram of yesterday’s sea star design…

And here’s the round up from the Facebook Group ‘Coastal Crochet‘ which now has over 16 000 members – wow! 🙂

Todays coaster design is very different to the others in that it’s worked in rows and is finished off with some surface crochet to create a sunny little beach scene…

The full pattern for all five designs in a digital download printer friendly format is available to purchase in my Ravelry and Etsy stores. Here are the links…

Beach Scene Square Coaster

  1. Hi Eleonora. I made the main part of this coaster last night and just have the border and surface chains to complete. I presume the back of this coaster will not be quite so neat because the white yarn is carried across to make the clouds. It would have been good to see the back of the coaster 🙂

  2. I’m tickled pink that my starfish coaster is one of the Facebook contributions! Thank you Eleanora. Now to start the seascape …. this is a fun project and I have friends who own a beach hut and others with a seaside caravan. They will receive a treat with their Christmas cards!
