Pattern for my ‘Coastal Scene’…

This weekend an amazing event is being held in Trivento, Italy – it’s ‘International Yarn Bombing Day‘ and I am one of over 60 designers that have each contributed a project as an installation for the event…

Mine is a ‘Coastal Scene’ and I wrote a blog post all about it here 🙂

Many people have asked me for the pattern and I have managed to write it up. I’m offering it as a free pattern because this was always a community event and I never actually intended to write the pattern up! I have also written the pattern up after I posted the actual ‘Coastal Scene’ off to Italy so it’s not my usual approach to pattern writing and it hasn’t been stringently pattern tested. It’s also only available in UK Crochet Terminology. Therefore I ask you to please forgive me if there are any discrepancies! 🙂

I used a few of my earlier motif designs including the beach hut, seagulls and sailing boat from my ‘Coastal Wall Hanging‘ which I designed for Hobbycraft back in 2017, and adapted them a little…

So here’s the pattern in PDF format for this ‘Coastal Scene’…

Coastal Scene

Enjoy and Happy Crocheting! 🙂

  1. You are so talented Eleonora! Thank you for your generosity in sharing the pattern for free as you have done with the Seaside Stash Buster and the Coastal Cal, one of which I’ve done and the other is getting there! Your patterns are so clear and easy to follow.

  2. Ein wunderschönes Muster 🥰
Ich liebe alles Maritime… Das Meer und alles was dazu gehört. Ich verfolge deinen Block so gerne… Lese mit Begeisterung über deine Reisen. Du schreibst so spannende Berichte… Da hat man das Gefühl live dabei zu sein…. Danke das du das alles mit uns teilst… 🤗
