There’s just one day left until voting closes in the @letsknitmag ‘British Knitting and Crochet Awards 2021’! 🧶

It’s ‘Rainbow Love’ for Day 23 of #yarnfriendsrock and I just had to share this fabulous #bohocrochetrainbow designed by Sharon @thestitchfoundry 🌈🌈🌈 ❤️ I crocheted a few of these for my NHS colleagues back at the start of the pandemic in 2020. The rainbow is a symbol of hope and at that time homemade rainbows were popping up all over the world in windows and on social media and here in the UK they became particularly symbolic in support of health care workers. So it was definitely a case of ‘rainbow love’... 🥰🌈🌈🌈

Oh I’m absolutely loving this ‘ReCreate’ 100% recycled yarn from @stylecraftyarns and I have a new project to share with you all soon! 😍🧶 That’s what has been ‘on my hook’ this weekend (perfect link there for today’s #yarnfriendsrock prompt!😉😄) and I’m happy to say the project is now finished! 😃💙 As is so often the case when in the midst of crochet designing, I can’t share what’s on my hooks here on social media until it’s long left my hooks! 😆🤪🧶

This evenings sunset… 😍🌅🌅🌅🌊 Now autumn is here (although it felt more like summer today! ☀️) the sun sets over the sea for us once more… 😍🌅

Day 17 of #yarnfriendsrock and today the prompt is ‘Yarn Bombing’! 💙🧶 Those of you who have followed me for a while will know I love a yarn bomb! Those pieces of crochet, knitting or yarn art put up in public to spread a little yarn love and bring a smile to faces! 🧶😍🧶😍💖 And I’ve done a fair few in my time…. this one was put up back in 2017… it lasted a couple of years and I know it must have brought a smile to many faces en route to the beach! 🌊😄 I’ve also taken part in the amazing @yarnbombingtrivento ‘Yarn Bombing Festivals’ in Italy! 🇮🇹 🥰💙💙💙 Have a fabulous Friday… 🥰
