Pura Vida -Week 6

Here it is… the final instalment of my Pura Vida crochet-along! 💚 Welcome to Week 6 and the end of our wonderful, colour filled journey! 😍

From those very first stitches…

To now, when we’ll be crocheting those final rows and then a really fun bobble border…

Inspired by my son Morgan’s adventure to Costa Rica in 2022, here Morgan is with the finished blanket…

I’ve absolutely loved designing and making a blanket fully inspired by a place that I’ve not been to but which one of my sons has!

Through his photos, his stories and general research on my part, I’m so proud of the blanket that has emerged!

Research on my part included a visit to a local butterfly centre… not as good as seeing the Blue Morpho butterfly in the wild, but still a wonderful experience… 🦋🦋🦋

Thank you to everyone who has taken part, crocheted along or followed from the sidelines… these crochet-alongs are wonderful because of the people taking part! Thank you for all your support…

And here’s a selection of progress photos shared this week over in my Coastal Crochet Facebook Group and on Instagram…💚

Even fabulous Stanley the Monkey who has taken part in lots of my crochet-alongs made an appearance! 😃❤️❤️❤️

That means a lot… ❤️

I’ve absolutely loved seeing all your progress photos… I’m amazed lots of you have managed to keep up! There’s no pressure though… enjoy it at your own pace. The pattern will remain available.

So let’s get started!

For those of you who have purchased the pattern on Ravelry it has now been updated to include Week 6:
