It’s an absolute joy to see so many ‘Picnic on the Beach’ blankets in progress! 😍🧺 🌊 Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous photos... I’ll be doing a round up on the grid tomorrow! It’s March!! 🌼☀️ How did that happen?! So it’s time for #marchmeetthemaker by @joannehawker - not sure I’ll keep up with any other prompts (in fact I know I won’t) but the first one to say “hi” is always nice...👋 😄❤️ Here I am with my sidekick Salty! 🐶 She’s the reason I walk along the coast so much... and get all that coastal inspiration! 🥰🐾🌊🌊🌊

Wow... that was a really lovely day! ☀️☀️☀️☀️ We’ve enjoyed the most gorgeous spring like weather here on the south coast... perfect to kick off my ‘Picnic on the Beach’ CAL! ☀️🌊☀️🌊🧺 It’s been a wonderful start to the CAL... and I’m so loving seeing all those Gingham Checks in progress! 😍 Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful kindness and support you’ve shared! And we’re off!! 😄 Our picnic begins....‼️💃🌊🌊🧺🧺❤️🤍❤️ It’s WEEK 1 of my ‘Picnic on the Beach’ blanket crochet- along and all the instructions for this first week have been published over on my website... the pattern, links to video tutorials and lots of step by step photos are all there! 😄🥰🧺❤️🌊 And this week we’re crocheting Gingham checks, Berry bobbles and Basketweave stitches!
