It’s been just over a month since I returned home from the most wonderful crochet adventure to Australia for the Crochet Guild Australia annual convention on the Sunshine Coast!
I’m now very happy to say that all the patterns for the workshops I hosted are available from me… scroll down for more information. 😊
I hosted three different workshops across the weekend. Each one was a delight, with such a lovely gathering of lovely people, all sharing crochet and chatting together.
The happiest of memories were made, as well as some gorgeous crochet creations…😊
Yarn company Scheepjes kindly sponsored my workshops and provided all the yarn needed for all the participants.
The team at Scheepjes sent the yarn out a couple of months ahead of me in a big box which I was very happy to see when I arrived!
Big thanks to Lynda at Crochet Australia for taking delivery of the yarn for me! 💙
Now a little more about the designs and links to the patterns which are available in my Ravelry and Etsy shops:
My Sunshine Coast Coasters…
These feature Australian Paper Daisy flowers and also a simple sun! They are all made in one piece using textured raised stitches for the petals and sun rays.
Mix and match the colours to create a bright and cheerful collection… they make lovely motifs too, ready to be added to all kinds of other projects, and they can also be turned into squares (which is explained in the pattern) opening up so many possibilities!

Here’s a photo of my Sunshine Coast Coasters on the actual Sunshine Coast! 😃☀️
Such a wonderful workshop enjoyed together!
And one of my coasters added here to one of my bags…
My Beachside Bliss Tunisian Wrap…
This beautiful Tunisian crochet wrap showcases a variety of different Tunisian crochet stitches and clever colour changes… it’s perfect for trying some new Tunisian crochet textures and techniques and creating an oh so cosy wrap!

By folding the wrap in half lengthways and adding poppers to the corners and a quarter of the way up so it can be secured closed, the wrap can be turned into a wearable sleeved wrap around, making it extra cosy!
Another brilliant workshop enjoyed together with so much learning and laughter thrown into the mix too!😃
And finally my Coastal Crochet Bags which I did already release as a pattern at the beginning of July…

So many smiley faces! 😃
Thank you so much to everyone who came along to one of my workshops.. it was an absolute pleasure to see you there!
I have so many more photos and videos from our wonderful trip in Australia, and other inspiring stories too… I’ll certainly share more over the coming months!
In the meantime Happy Crocheting Everyone… 💙😃
