Changing Tides – Week 10

IMG_1589(1)Welcome to Week 10…

It’s amazing how the weeks are flying by… and this week we have completely new rounds to enjoy! There are 7 rounds in total to keep us busy… 🙂

But first this weeks round-up of blankets being made and shared and I created 3 grids full of beautiful blankets… 🙂

The first is a round-up from the hashtag #changingtidesblanket on Instagram The second round-up is from photos shared in the Facebook Group – ‘Coastal Crochet CAL’ – it’s a wonderful positive and encouraging group with lots of blankets, help and advice being shared everyday…

And finally the third round-up is with our four legged furry friends! As you will see below, further on in this blog post, my Salty just loves the textures on this blanket and it looks like she’s not alone… lots of adorable dogs from photos shared either on Instagram or in the Facebook group!

Please do keep sharing your amazing photos! 🙂

And for those of you who have purchased the PDF pattern on Ravelry it has now been updated to include Week 10 in both UK and US terms…

Ravelry – Changing Tides Blanket

So this weeks rounds are made up of ‘Wavy Shell Stitch’. 🙂  I love searching for shells that are washed in by the tides… some really are very beautiful! So a combination of crochet stitches that create some shells and some waves… how perfect are they for our Changing Tides Blanket! img_4323img_9534And as you can see, little Salty keeps seeking out my blanket! Here I was taking some step by step photos and she just couldn’t resist… 🙂

The rounds are pretty straight forward but I have recorded a YouTube Tutorial to help with this weeks rounds too…

  1. These rows look great , can’t wait to make a start on them , Thank-you , love the pics of the shells

  2. I love these rows! I just started and got to the end of my first side–and didn’t have enough stitches to complete the row, so I went back and counted the round before on each side. I had 130, 131, 128, and 132! 🤦‍♀️ That will teach me to count as I go, won’t it! I’ll just fudge it for now until I can get back on track. I’m loving this blanket!

  3. Hello Leonora sorry but you did not send me the connection to Ravelry for the short printable edition which I bought from Ravelry but could not get and now it has disappeared off my Ravelry library completely . I have 1-9 but the connection is missing from the above e-mail – what do I do ?Best Wishes Christine Cordy

    1. Hello Christine… that’s so frustrating! I’m so sorry this has happened but I have no idea why… it must be a problem with Ravelry as I sent the update as usual this morning. Please give me your email address and I can then send you the PDF’s for the weeks you need. Best Wishes, Eleonora
