Welcome to Week 9… so many beautiful blankets being made and now we’re over halfway! 🙂 Last week was all about those yarn eating bobbles so I’ve chosen some close up photos in this weeks round-up from Instagram to show off all that beautiful texture…
Now for some easier rounds and this weeks are a repeat of the rounds we have done after each of our previous ‘Pebble Lace’ rounds. And the colours I’ve used for the rounds this week are blue and green… just like when the sea meets land…

ch: chain, ch-sp(s): chain space(s), dc: double crochet, dtr: double treble, htr: half treble, RS: right side, ss: slip stitch, st(s): stitch(es), tr: treble, WS: wrong side
Rounds 52 and 53 are a repeat of Rounds 15 and 16. And here’s the YouTube tutorial to accompany the next round if you need a reminder…
Round 52 2ch, 1htr in next 2 sts, * (1htr, 2ch, 1htr) in corner ch-sp, 1htr in next 3 sts, (3htr in ch-sp, 1htr in next st) to final ch-sp on this side, 3htr in final ch-sp, 1htr in next 3 sts, repeat from * on next three sides, after final ch-sp ss to top of first 2 ch, fasten off, turn [127 sts on each side]
Round 53 (RS) Join Yarn G to any corner ch-sp, 3ch (counts as 1 dc and 2 ch), 1dc in same corner ch-sp, * 1dc in next 3 sts, 1dtr in dc st below from Round 51, (miss st directly behind dtr, 1dc in next 3 sts, 1dtr in dc st below from Round 51 which sits above dtr cluster) and repeat to final dtr cluster on this side, 1dc in next 3 sts, 1dtr in dc st below from Round 51, 1dc in final 3 sts, (1dc, 2ch, 1dc) in corner ch-sp, repeat from * on next three sides ending with ss to first ch, turn [129 sts on each side]
Round 54 3ch, 1tr in each st around working (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) in each corner ch-sp, ss to top of first 3 ch (after final corner ch-sp), fasten off, turn [133 sts on each side]

I love love love this blanket but some weekly transitions are difficult. So it says round 50 and 51 are repeats of round 15 and 16. Took me ages to establish round 15 was week 1 and round 16 was week 2. So it would be helpful to actually add which week the particular round that is being referred to was covered off. Otherwise very happy with instructions
