Week 23 and we’re going to start by doing just two more rows of the Raised Ripple stitch to soften that line with last weeks rows. And mine are in blue with white like the sea lapping up on the sand and creating those ripples…
…but yours can be in any colour you like! And then we end with Long Wave Stitch – yes the waves are back again!

So at the end of row 96 you should have joined with a new colour and made 3ch which counts as the first tr of this next row.
Remember it’s UK terminology… dtr=double treble (US treble), tr=treble (US double crochet), htr= half treble (US half double), dc=double crochet (US single crochet)

RdtrF: Raised double treble Front: complete a double treble st as normal but insert hook around the stem of the next st inserting hook from right to left going from the front to the back and then round to the front again.
Row 97 Miss next st working 1RdtrF around tr below it from Row 95, continue with (1tr in next st as normal, miss next st working 1RdtrF in tr below it from Row 95) to final 2 sts, 1tr in final 2 sts, joining with a new colour at end of final st, 1ch (counts as first dc of next row – you may want to put a stitch marker in this ch so it is easier to recognise as a stitch when crocheting back into it later), turn (180 sts)

Row 98 1dc in each st to end, join with a new colour, 4ch, turn
And now we’re back to our Long Wave Stitch… Yay! I did do the YouTube tutorial for this way back in week 4 but this is the fourth set of Long Wave Stitches so I’m sure you’re all experts by now!
You know I love these gentle rolling waves…
Row 99 1tr in next 2 sts continue with (2htr, 3dc, 2htr, 2tr, 3dtr, 2tr) and repeat to end, the final st will be a tr, 1ch (counts as 1st dc of next row- you may want to put a stitch marker in this ch so it is easier to recognise as a stitch when crocheting back into it after next row), turn

Row 100 1dc in each st to end, join with a new colour at end of final st, 1ch (counts as first dc of next row- again you may want to put a stitch marker in this ch so it is easier to recognise when crocheting back into it after next row), turn
