The bluebells have been fantastic this year in our local woodland! We enjoyed a walk in search of them a few weeks ago and what a sight they were- a real carpet of striking purple covering the forest floor…
So I decided to crochet some bluebells and the pattern is above for you… 🙂
The cliff top flowers nearer to home have also been amazing and I’ve shared some photos on my Instagram of these beautiful flowers clinging to the cliffs fully exposed to all the sea has to throw at them!
They provided a perfect backdrop to photograph my crocheted bluebells…
Oh and here’s a photo of Salty enjoying the bluebell walk too…
As ever, thanks for reading and sharing my crochet with me… 🙂 🙂
Happy Crocheting! 🙂
They are so pretty 😍 this flower field looks amazing! I miss living in a place with real seasons
Thank you Emma- yes, I do appreciate the seasons. Although sometimes our summers never really get going and we’re left yearning for some heat! 🙂 🙂
What a beautiful place you live in! Your bluebells are adorable too, going to add them to my Mother’s Day bouquet!
Thank you Brenna- enjoy the bluebells you make- they sound fabulous as part of a bouquet! 🙂 🙂

Awww, thanks Bekki- Salty hasn’t made an appearance on here for a while so it was about time (I do love Mr Hicks puddle pictures! ) 🙂 🙂
Thank you. Although rapidly running out of puddles with the lack of rain.
I love these! There are lots nearby where I live too, and I was just thinking the other day that I hadn’t seen crocheted bluebells before, and here they are!
Thank you, I’m so glad you like them! 🙂 🙂

Bluebells are one ofmy favourite flowers, I can’t wait to make some. I wonder if the heads would work as dangly earrings… I feel an experiment coming on!
Oh yes, that sounds fabulous…with very fine yarn and a tiny hook they’d look gorgeous! 🙂 🙂 Good Luck… 🙂
Thanks ^_^
The Bluebells seem to have been particularly prolific this year, don’t they? I never tire of seeing photos on people’s blogs, only yours is the only one I’ve come across with a crochet version too!
Yay! Thanks Sheila… yes, they have been fantastic this year (and I’m glad I managed to get crocheted ones in there too!):) 🙂
Another stupendous pattern. I’m going to town to get some appropriate yarn. Thank you!
