This was an unplanned sneaky project that found itself on my hooks this week! We have an old vintage bureau in our kitchen which we painted white a few years ago. I already had crocheted covers for the door knobs but they were old and tatty looking so I decided to crochet new ones and write up the pattern for it.
So here you go, click on the link below for the pattern…
And of course here’s a beach related photo- I took the covers in progress down to the beach for a little photo shoot before putting them in place on the bureau 😉
Enjoy… 🙂 🙂
Cute! Now why didn’t I think of that! I have many different types of knobs on the cupboards in my kitchen, why didn’t I think of covering one or more with crochet! Once again you provide the inspiration Eleonora! Big thanks!

So creative! And what a great way to change up the look of any furniture with knobs on it – you could even make red and green ones to pop on for some Christmas cheer next winter!! 🙂

Absolutely Rosina! I love crochet too!! 😉 🙂
These are lovely I can see various knobs getting little coats in my house. I recently learnt to spin and crochet has come as a natural progression. Now addicted and have made plenty of baskets and pen holders.
I also made chair feet ‘socks’ for all my dining chairs as I have a wooden floor they are really cool and stop scratches and that dreadful scraping noise. If you’d like a pic email me you are welcome to adapt for your blog.
Hi Julia, lovely to hear from you. The chair socks sound fabulous – such a great idea and so practical! I have quite a few other projects and designs on the go at the moment but thanks so much anyway…certainly one to add to my never-ending to-do-list! 😊😊❤❤
Very nice!
