I was hoping to reveal the broomstick crochet cardigan to you all today but it’s not quite finished. I’m so close but another crochet project took over this weekend…
As many of you may know, through Instagram, Kate from the blog ‘Just Pootling’ has organised ‘Jenny’s Blanket of Hugs’ and asked crocheters from around the world to crochet squares for this precious blanket. http://justpootling.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/jennys-blanket-of-hugs.html
So this weekend I did just that and crocheted my 3 squares. It’s so nice to think they’ll be part of a bigger project to spread some love, comfort and cosiness. And I really enjoyed making them…
I did manage to continue with the broomstick cardigan too and here I was crocheting while my children took part in some sailing activities…
There will be a big reveal on the cardigan very soon…

That’s what happened with a broomstick cardigan I started years ago I ended up frogging it 😟
The story behind the blanket made me quite tearful. The squares will look beautiful together and mean so much.
