A calm and glistening sea…plus second submissions!

Last week I promised to bring you photos of a calm and glistening sea, should the English weather allow for that! And at the weekend we had a taste of summer once more and the sea was certainly calm and glistening as you can see from the photos below…

What a diference a few days can make. Calm...

…and glistening!

My crochet hook has not been picked up as much as I would like this week but I have managed to complete a further three samples for submission as part of the International Diploma in Crochet

A square of Triple Trebles, a square of Quadruple Trebles and a triangle of Double Crochet starting at the point.

I have had to send these off to my newly allocated assessor and mentor in Northern Ireland. Once again, I await in anticipation for the feedback I will receive. The simple yet repetitive nature needed in completing these samples is real hands on learning and I value the learning process a great deal, really concentrating on each and every stitch, and in particular my technique, like never before!

Happy Crocheting everyone!
